PL08 - Repurposed Fish Trap Lamp

Traditional handmade basketry originated from a “passive fish-trap” made by rice farmers in North and Northeast Thailand. This lamp combines different weaving techniques and it is as sophisticated as rustic. It is a lightweight and well proportioned piece that does not contain any metal structure in its body. It can be hung directly onto the electrical cord. Each piece is full of interesting asymmetrical details and has a slightly different shape and finishing.
